Manga readers were left confused after Zinmanga redirected them to TopManhua, so what happened to the fan-favourite website?
For the last 12 hours, Zinmanga fans have been scrambling to find their beloved manga lists after the site sent to them TopManhua, meaning that their comic collections were no more.
Twitter has been flooded with readers desperate to find answers to no avail, since Zinmanga’s official account has remained silent.

What happened to Zinmanga.com?
Zinmanga has vanished overnight; the popular manga site now redirects readers to TopManhua.
Even the Zinmanga URL immediately switches to topmanhua.com, meaning that it’s not just the web design that has changed.
Unfortunately, there’s been no confirmation behind the move, leaving fans clueless and frustrated since they’ve lost their records.

Site redirection
One fan suggested that perhaps Zinmanga’s URL registration expired and was purchased by Top Manhua.
While it’s possible that the latter has ownership of Zinmanga, redirection occurs if the website has been programmed to forward the traffic to a new domain. However, you do not necessarily have to own the new URL; you can redirect to any site of your choice, including Google.
The good news is, the URL Zinmanga still exists but you just can’t access their content, meaning that they can stop the redirection whenever and allow traffic on their original page again.
If Zinmanga’s address was completely deleted, viewers would be shown a blank page reading: “This site can’t be reached”.
The redirection could be two of three type: 301 or 302.
301 refers to a permanant redirect if the owner doesn’t intend on using the original URL again – in this case, Zinmanga.
The second, 302, is the term for temporary redirections if the website is under heavy maintenance.
