James Bay and Lucy Smith recently got married. Their daughter Ada Violet was born in October 2021. Bay showed a few pictures from the wedding while making the news.

The first was a black-and-white picture of Bay and Smith walking together while confetti falls from the sky and Smith seems to be yelling with joy. In the second picture, the couple looked at each other while a few trees and a low summer sun were in the background. This is what it says:

For now, we don’t know many details about Lucy Smith’s personal life. So far, all we know about Smith is that she works as a music promoter in London.

Smith became known as James Bay’s longtime love, and the two of them have been together since Bay was 17.

Bay said that Smith was the coolest person in the world and that he was the reason he became a musician. Before they got together, they were close friends. Bay also said:

“Back in the day, we used to stay home on Wednesday nights to watch TV, and she would say, “Hey, if you want to be a famous musician one day, you should be playing songs in a bar or club right now.” She taught me that, so I went out and did it. Without her, I wouldn’t be here.”

Back in May 2022, Bay put out a song called “One Life.” It was about how he and Smith met, fell in love, and had a child together. James said that he and Lucy grew up in the same town, and it has been very important for them to keep their relationship secret.

He said that One Life is a celebration of how far they’ve come on their journey.

James Bay got his start in music by putting out an EP called The Dark of the Morning in July 2013. His second EP, Let It Go, came out in May 2014. Both the iTunes album chart and the UK album chart were topped by this one.

In December 2014, James released his first studio album, Chaos and the Calm. His song “Hold Back the River” was a big hit in the UK charts. Then, in January 2015, he put out his fourth EP, Other Sides, which had covers of Hey Bulldog and King’s Highway.

Electric Light, the 31-year-second old’s album, came out in May 2018, and the singles from it were an instant hit. Oh My Messy Mind, his third EP, came out in May 2019, and work on his third studio album began in the spring of 2020. Chew On My Heart, his next single, came out in July 2020.
