What Happened To Lara Spencer’s Right Leg? 

It was on 3 January 2023, Lara Spencer posted pictures of her, which left everyone in shock. Why? It showcased her having a walking boot and knee scooter. What happened to her? The journalist Lara Spencer confirmed that she had a chronic foot injury which eventually started affecting her health. Because of that, she underwent surgery.

The part of her post said, “A torn plantar plate and ligament in my foot that’s been slowly getting worse and worse FINALLY fixed by the magnificent Dr. O’Malley at HSS today.” In addition to this, Lara even cracked a joke saying that she wasn’t hoping for that boot that Christmas. That was after a few days after the Christmas event. 

Talking more about it, Lara Spencer struggled with a long-time severe pain in her foot. Still, from the very beginning, she has been brave enough to deal with it and recover after the procedure. She even thought of a game to play later. Guess what? Tennis, it is. She said, “Tennis, I’m comin’ for ya.” 

While Lara was in pain, her work struggles were too much. The journalist opened up about it, sharing that her leg used to be very heavy. She also tried to lean forward to get her scripts. Concerning the new scooter, it has turned out to be her new helper for the next couple of months. We wonder if it’s going to take longer for her to heal.
