Seyram Kwami Djentuh is accused of stabbing someone to death near Brunswick Street Mall in a shopping center.
After fights broke out between two big groups of people at the Mall on Monday, Djentuh is said to have stabbed Lauie Michael Tagaloa.
The CCTV footage from the Brisbane City Council was found by the police. It showed that the two men had gotten into a fight that led to the death of one of them.
People who were there and saw what happened helped Tagaloa until the paramedics got there. He was covered in blood and was pronounced dead right away.
When the police arrived, Seyram and the other men had already run away, but they were caught later. Two other suspects helped the police find Seyram, so they weren’t charged with anything.
It was clear that Djentuh was the one who stabbed the young man. He is accused of killing someone and will go to court in August.

The fight went all the way to the Brisbane train station and ended in a terrible way in the Valley Metro food court nearby.

Seyram Kwami’s family is from the town of Birkdale, which is about 20 km from Brisbane.
Djentuh did not show up to the court hearing in Brisbane on Tuesday morning. After the case was brought to court, neither he nor his family asked for bail.
Seyram was found with the weapons that were said to have been used to kill. He will stay in police custody, and the case has been put off until August 8, when the final decision will be made public.
