The new studio is owned by owned a by local husband and wife duo, Shauna and Michael Hansen. Shauna, originally an accountant, has had a passion for art since high school but chose to pursue a stable career over her love of art. After speaking with her aunt, who owns two Painting with a Twist locations in Buffalo, and researching the company’s mission she knew opening a studio in Richmond would not only be an asset to the community, but also give her the ability to reconnect with her passion for art.

Painting with a Twist teaches fun art, not fine art, which is appealing to all ages. Our classes provide a wonderful way to connect, not only with others, but also with your inner artist. Painting with a Twist is an exciting new addition to the community, and we’re excited to serve Richmond and surrounding communities for the first time.
