Tayveon Andrew Death: A young man was found shot to death on Chittock Avenue in Jackson.
Following the discovery of a man dead inside a car early on Wednesday, Jackson Police are looking into a homicide.
According to the Jackson Police Department, at about 12:18 a.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Chittock Avenue. They found a 19-year-old man in the passenger seat of a car, parked in a driveway, with a gunshot wound to his head.
Medical personnel identified the victim as 19-year-old Tayveon Andrew, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the authorities, Andrew appeared to have a head wound from a gunshot.
The death of Andrew is being looked into by authorities as a homicide.
According to the police, no one has been arrested and the investigation is still open.
