Indian actress Raima Sen was born on November 7, 1979, to veteran actress Moon Moon Sen and Bharat Dev Sharma. She is the sister of actress Riya Sen who is also an actor. Also, she is the granddaughter of the late actress Suchitra Sen. Raima started her career with the film Godmother (1999) opposite actress Shabana Azmi. Later, she was seen in the film Daman (2001) playing the role of Raveena Tandon's daughter. Despite playing a small role, her performance was well appreciated by the audience. Other than Bollywood, Raima was much more active in the Bengali film industry and has acted in a number of Bengali films. She got her breakthrough with the Bengali film Chokher Bali (2003). Simultaneously over the years, she was seen in both Hindi and Bengali movies.
