Rabbi Zechariah Wallerstein Passed Away After Suffering For Several Years From An Illness

Rabbi Zechariah Wallerstein, a well-known educator and speaker, died at around 5:00 a.m. on Monday, according to the source.

The awful news comes after a long battle with a disease; however, it is unknown what condition he was battling.

Hundreds, if not thousands, of Klal Yisroel members have been led back to a life of Torah uMitzvos by this outstanding individual. To ensure that no young person was left behind in their Jewish identity, he sponsored programs, schools, and other educational opportunities.

His success was based on his sincere love and dedication to all Klal Yisroel members. After a protracted illness, he passed away. Klal Yisroel has had a major setback. May he act as a translator for us all.

He spent his years in Flatbush with his business partner and partner in crime, Estee, whom he left behind with their daughters and grandchildren. The funeral will be held in Brooklyn’s Ohr Naava.
