Kanan states that Unique is alive and well after Season 3 of Power Book III Raising Kanan, and this is because Ronnie neglected to make sure that his brother was dead forever.

The look on Unique’s face at the end of the film makes it quite evident that he was hurt, but not badly enough to pass away quickly. After being severely beaten by Ronnie, Unique must have lost consciousness.

Since Ronnie had no intention of killing his brother, the former prisoner would have become frightened and wanted to make sure his brother was dead for Good.

After being saved at the end of Season 3 of Power Book III Raising Kanan, Unique must have known that going back to southern Jamaica to exact revenge on Ronnie would not be safe.

Raq’s death of Juliana has paved the door for Unique, who makes his appearance after Power Book III Raising Kanan’s third season. Ronnie and Juliana’s deaths allow Unique to take back control of the Queens drug scene.

Raq kills Howard without hesitation at the end of Season 3 of Power Book III Raising Kanan due to Howard’s insistence on sacrificing Marvin. Raq’s family is the one thing he will always prioritize. She considers anyone who can hurt her family to be dangerous. At the end of the day, Howard is not Kanan’s family, despite being his father.

She can shoot him down in front of their son because of this. Because Raq is aware that Howard never leaves a void in Kanan’s life that she can’t fill, he finds it easier to sacrifice the detective for his brother.
