Paul Sun Hyung Lee And His Wife Anna Are Living A Blissful Married Life

Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, star of Kim’s Convenience, has been married to his wife Anna for nearly two decades. Lee and Anna discussed their relationship and revealed the key to their happy marriage. In an interview with Streets of Toronto in 2017, the actor and his wife described how they met and fell in love. Anna claims that they initially met through a friend/couple by chance.

“Paul is at the pub with a sour friend. I went out with some college friends. “Paul called our mutual acquaintances to ask what they had planned for the evening,” she recalls.

“Meanwhile, I barely went to the pub with them but ended up going… We met, laughed, exchanged phone numbers and the rest, as they say, is history.”

Lee and his wife also discussed their first official date. Anna says the date took them all over Toronto. They dined at Hot Tomato and drank at Living Well. Then the two went to Havana Blues, a martini and cigar bar. “There were a lot of people walking, talking and laughing,” she said. Lee brought back the latest Tom Waits CD from a record store. Anna claims that Lee showed her big-screen movies, games like Golden Eye, and sci-fi as they got closer. “I had a great time watching movies and playing video games on the little TV in my Kensington Market basement apartment.”

Family And Marriage

Lee and his wife were married on December 31, 1999, just hours before the year 2000 began. Because Anna was “dyed like a dog”, the actor admitted that the proposal was not as romantic as he expected. Lee and Anna were married on August 25, 2001 in Toronto, a year and a half after they proposed. Their honeymoon was spent in Orlando, Florida.

Since then, the couple has had two sons, Noah and Miles. When talking to CBC about his family, Lee said that his eldest son Noah is like him. He said: “My biggest Noah likes all the wacky things, like Star Wars, which is great. “He’s like a miniature version of me, and I guess that’s why we headbutt each other often because we’re so similar.” Miles, Lee’s youngest child, “no [him]’ because he’s so strong and athletic. He also mentions Miles’ weird hobbies, including stop-motion animation and sketching.

Although Lee believes Miles is different from him, the two continue to share their interests. The Kim’s Convenience actor recently posted on Instagram photos of himself and his youngest child having fun browsing the Toys”R”Us Canada category.
