A paraprofessional in Jo Daviess County is facing charges of criminal sexual assault and abuse after investigators say she had a sexual relationship with a student, according to a news release from the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
Alycia J. Deckert, 42, of Scales Mound, was charged with two counts of criminal sexual assault and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse on March 4 in Jo Daviess County Circuit Court, according to the release.
