Born in Montreal, Canada, on June 29th, 1999, the son of an Iranian-Canadian billionaire had his sights set on racing from an early age. At the age of 13 he started his journey with Karting and within a couple of years began to taste success. In 2013 he competed in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship and British Formula 3. The following year he'd make an attempt at GP2. After years of trial, error and unsuccessful attempts, in 2019 he placed 2nd in the FIA Formula 2 Championship. The following year he joined Williams F1 team as race driver. He made his debut in the Austrian Grand Prix, starting the race in 20th position but finished an impressive 11th. He ended the season in 21st position with him or the team failing to put up any points. The next season he improved his position to 17th and achieved his best race finish coming in P7 at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
