During the height of his stripped Tour de France successes between 1999-2005, Armstrong held a significant number of blue chip sponsors.
The likes of Nike, Oakley and Discovery were all partners with Armstrong or his US Postal team that took won those successive Tours de France.
At it’s height, Lance Armstrong’s net worth was about $125 million.
After losing his sponsors, and paying some fines, it dropped considerably, but he still has a fair chunk of change in his pocket.

Uber investment works well
In 2009, before the doping scandal erupted and as he was making a comeback to professional cycling, Armstrong invested $100,000 into Uber – founded earlier that year
As the company has grown to have a revenue of over $17 billion, so has Armstrong’s initial investment.
An investigation by Bloomberg calculated that his investment in Chris Sacca’s Lowercase Capital returned about $30 million.
After certain fees had been deducted, the investigation found that Armstrong probably earned about $20 million from that investment.
