Kelly Bensimon kept her year-long relationship with her new boyfriend Scott Litner low-key, making only a few public appearances. However, as the developing relationship progresses, RHONY viewers should expect to see more of Kelly’s fiancé. Her boyfriend Scott’s marriage proposal, which took place over the 4th of July weekend, was a brilliantly staged surprise. Scott Litner found special occasion to pop the question during a visit to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, one of Kelly’s favorite summer getaway spots. He chose to propose to her on a romantic boat cruise, providing a beautiful and intimate setting for this momentous occasion.
Scott took advantage of the boat excursion to present Kelly with a beautiful five-carat emerald-cut diamond ring, handcrafted from New York jeweler Material Good. Kelly Bensimon’s engagement was made public during the premiere party for Bravo’s Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake, when the couple made their first public appearance since the news broke. Kelly made a statement in a sheer fishnet dress over a black bikini.
Kelly Bensimon is getting married for the second time. She was previously married to Gilles Bensimon, a prominent fashion photographer, with whom she had two children, Sea (25) and Teddy (23).
