Only a few days before New Year’s Eve, Hudson had her first live performance ever.

Fans of Kate Hudson are aware of her as an actress and businesswoman, but she also wants to become an artist. Hudson wrapped off her debut performance at Bad Harriet in Aspen, Colorado, on December 28.

The 44-year-old Glass Onion actress began posting pictures and videos from the occasion on her Instagram account on Monday.

The first image showed her grinning, singing, and perched on a stool while wearing a flowing floral gown and cowboy boots.

Hudson then shared videos of herself singing Chris Stapleton’s “White Horse,” Patty Griffin’s “When It Don’t Come Easy,” Ryan Adams’ “Come Pick Me Up,” and Dua Lipa’s “Dance the Night” from the Barbie soundtrack.

The mom of three then performed a soulful rendition of Sinéad O’Connor’s “Nothing Compares 2 U.”

In the following video, the co-founder of Fabletics can be heard belting out the words to Patty Griffin’s “When It Don’t Come Easy” and doing a bluesy version of Chris Stapleton’s “White Horse.”

In another video that she posted, she can be seen dancing to the hit song “Dance the Night” by Dua Lipa, which is featured on the Barbie soundtrack. Afterward, on the carousel, she sang a pared-down version of Ryan Adams’ song “Come Pick Me Up.”

In a different video, Hudson addressed the audience before playing “You Don’t Know How It Feels” by Tom Petty. She said that it’s interesting in an intimate space because they’re all staring at her. She is used to her living room, where no one is staring at her.

Valentina Paloma and Salma Hayek were present at Kate Hudson’s very first performance. In late December, the two were seen traveling to the location in Aspen, both of them adequately attired for the chilly weather and the event.

From Quiet Songbird to Grammy-Winning Singer

When Kate Hudson shared her singing selfie on Instagram in April 2022, she wasn’t just humming in the shower—she was secretly brewing up her own album! Fast forward to Jimmy Fallon’s show: COVID-19 gave her a musical awakening, making her rethink things at 40.

It turns out, she’s been scribbling lyrics since dial-up internet days but kept them in the vault. Now? She’s unleashing tunes, kicking regrets to the curb like last season’s fashion!
