On Thursday night, a hit-and-run at the intersection of South Broadway and Angliana Avenue in Lexington claimed the life of one individual.

In a late-night incident, authorities were called to the scene of a collision involving a motorbike and a car at approximately 10:30 p.m.

According to a report released by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office, it has been revealed that 20-year-old Jerry Creech, the motorbike driver involved in the incident, tragically succumbed to his injuries caused by multiple blunt force trauma.

The crash reconstruction unit has been called to the scene, and authorities are currently investigating the incident.
