Nike Global Director, Community & Culture Brand Creative Sadly, Portland, Oregon resident Jerome Brooks has passed away. His death devastated his friends and family.
An official Facebook post confirming his death said, “Jerome Brooks I’m going to need you to wake up because I can’t believe it, buddy! You should have arrived yesterday, but we only chatted on Saturday. It is unknown what exactly caused Jerome Brooks to pass away.
Jerome Brooks studied political science at Howard University. He continued his education at Cornell University, where he majored in economics and government. He received his degree from the University of Southern California in 2021.
He served as the U.S. House of Representatives’ Economic Policy Fellow from May 2005 to May 2006, a period of one year and one month. From May 2006 to April 2008, he worked as a political analyst at the Joint Centre for Political and Economic Studies for two years.
For four months, from July to October 2010, he worked as a Policy Fellow in the Office of Mayor Sam Adams at the City of Portland. From January 2011 until March 2013, he worked as the U.S. House of Representatives’ District Manager for Government & Community Affairs for a period of two years and three months. He was a formidable presence and would be sincerely missed by all.
