In the closing moments of tonight's episode of Gotham on FOX, future supervillain Jonathan "Scarecrow" Crane finds himself strapped to a hospital bed, tortured by the images of The Scarecrow, one which he will eventually use to terrorize Gotham.
While we see its inspiration in a field behind his home, where his father forever alters his brain chemistry with a dangerous, experimental "cure" for fear, it isn't until later that we see what it is Jonathan Crane truly sees.
