UPDATE:

37 handguns were stolen from the Tac Shack in Monmouth early Thursday.

According to the Monmouth Police Department, several people broke into the Tac Shack in the 1100 block of East Jackson Avenue around 4:25 a.m.

Justin Lipes, owner of Tac Shack, tells Local Four News the most expensive weapons stolen were Glock’s, 1911’s and Springfield models. 

The Monmouth Police Department says it is “aggressively investigating” this burglary.
