Gerard “Jerry” LePore Obituary-Death News; Powerflow Yoga Founder, Gerard “Jerry” LePore Passes Away At 58
On Thursday, November 30, at the age of 58, Gerard “Jerry” LePore, a well-liked person in Madison, New Jersey, and the creator of Powerflow Yoga, abruptly passed away.
Jerry’s life path touched many hearts. He was well-known for his steadfast love for his family, his commitment to yoga, and his contagious enthusiasm.
Jerry was a beloved husband and father of Devon, Ben, and Chris—not only his sons, but also his best friends—having been born in Newark, New Jersey, and raised in Nutley.
Along with his dear twin brother Joe and Rachel LePore, his brothers James and Karen Chandler, Robert and Rita LePore, Patrick and Rose LePore, and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews all of whom held a special place in Jerry’s heart were also greatly affected by his passing.
Jerry’s life served as an example of pursuing one’s passions. Following his 1987 graduation from Villanova University, he set off on a path that ultimately brought him back to Hoboken and Chatham.
Motivated by his passion, he left behind a lucrative position in the commercial sector to follow his passion for yoga, founding and expanding Powerflow Yoga into a well-known company with several locations.
Even though he had a unique kind of leukemia, he never wavered in his resolve and devoted a large portion of his life to helping others who were going through similar difficulties. Jerry has been extraordinarily fortunate to be cancer-free for the last five years.
In addition to his commitment to yoga, Jerry was an avid golfer, a passionate follower of Villanova basketball, and a steadfast devotee of the New York Knicks.
But above all, he was a family man who made everyone he came into contact with feel happy, upbeat, and comfortable.
On Wednesday, December 6th, at 10:15 a.m., there will be a funeral ceremony honoring Gerard “Jerry” LePore at the O’Boyle Funeral Home, 309 Broad St., Bloomfield.
