The LEGO Batman Movie is now out in theaters, bringing the Batman mythos and franchise lore to the LEGO Universe. As we say in our official review, one of the greatest joys of LEGO Batman is the deep knowledge of the character's history that the filmmakers clearly have - and that is clearly evident from the sheer amount of Batman villains they adapted for the film.
Some of them are all too recognizable, but some of them even hardcore Batman may not recognize, as they were pulled from pretty old, obscure, and outdated Batman comics. The Joker
Hangover Trilogy and Baskets star Zach Galifianakis voiced Batman's nemesis.
Harley Quinn
Harley is voiced Parks and Recreation and Kroll Show funny lady, Jenny Slate.
Catwoman
X-Men: First Class and Mad Max: Fury Road starlet Zoë Kravitz voiced Catwoman.
Bane
Comedian Doug Benson does a great Tom Hardy impression as Bane.
Riddler
One of the biggest headlines going into The LEGO Batman Movie's promotional campaign was that late night host Conan O'Brien was taking on this voice role.
Scarecrow
The League's wild man Jason Mantzoukas voices the master of fear - though he's more funny than scary in the film.
Clayface
Big Bang Theory actress Kate Micucci (Lucy) voiced Clayface.

Suicide Squad's resident cannibal looked way more "crocish" in the movie.
Man-Bat
Two-Face
This one was a lot of fun for fans, as Batman (1989) star Billy Dee Williams finally got take his role as Harvey Dent all the way into Two-Face territory.
Penguin
Hugo Strange
Batman's whacked-out head shrink foe pops up for a quick second in the film. Extra points for nailing the beard.
Mutant Leader
Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns gets a special shoutout via this savage villain's appearance.
Crazy Quilt
...Getting into the more obscure villains, Crazy Quilt is a villain who's had multiple incarnations stretching back to the 1940s. All of them were pretty silly - including this one, with a helmet that uses colored light hypnosis and shoots laser beams.
Mime
Mime is one of those ideas that could only come from the cocaine '80s: a girl whose parents died in a fireworks factory starts a mime company - only to turn criminal when the mime company goes bankrupt (shocker).
Polka Dot Man
Dude is from the zany '60s era, and you can tell because his outfit has spots he can peel off and use in any number of stupid ways.
Eraser
An old schoolmate of Bruce Wayne who (for some dumb reason) turns to a life of crime wearing and eraser-themed costume.
Orca
Apparently if you repair someone's spine with an Orca whale spine, they become a whale-themed supervillain.
Tarantula
There have been two DC characters to take on this mantle. You'd be hard-pressed to remember either of them.
King Tut
This guy was a silly creation of the '60s Batman TV show - and yet, they still brought him into the comic book universe, eventually. Now, he's a part of the movies, too. Good for him. Still a dumb villain.
Clock King
There have been some good versions of Clock King - this movie clearly wanted the sillier version to play with.
Calendar Man
Like Clock King, Calendar Man has been retconned into a much better Batman villain than...this (see: The Long Halloween).
