Elina TZENGKO is a world-class Greek javelin thrower. Elina TZENGKO was born on 2 September 2002 in Nea Kallikrateia, Chalkidiki, Greece. She is now 20 years old. Her early life spends there along with her family.

Elina TZENGKO is a rising star and the future of greek, she is now only 20 years old and she grabbed four gold medals and a Silver medal as well as three-time national champion.

Estonian capital Tallinn is her luckiest city said Elina TZENGKO. Not only she was crowned as Women’s Rising Star for 2022, but she also won The European U20 Championships Javelin title in the same city where won the gold medal in 2021.

Elina TZENGKO represented Greek but before 2018 she was a migrant and on 22 June 2018 Tzengko received Greek citizenship.

Elina TZENGKO is a greek women’s athlete. Before 2018 they are Albanian immigrants. Elina TZENGKO has two little sisters. they all were born in Greek.

She Represents Greece but has non-Greek origins or partial non-Greek origins.

In 2018 she received Greece Nationality with two other sisters but her parents are still Albanian immigrants. Before 2000 her parents came permanently from Albania.

Elina TZENGKO Athelat Career 2016-2022:

2016: Her career begin in 2016 at the age of 14. She participated in only one national event where she throw a javelin(500gm) and shot put(3kg) and the result respectively 54.04m and 14.18m.

2017:Again She participated in only one national event where she throw a javelin(500gm) and shot put(3kg) and the result respectively 48.67m and 14.06m. She participated in only one indoor game as a shotput(3kg).

2018: This is the first time participated in two international events one is European U18 Championships in Győr, Hungary where she achieved 7th position, throwing 53.84 m javelin. Another one is Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina she throws the javelin 61.74 m and achieved a Gold medal. It’s her career’s first gold medal.

2019 and 2020: COVID-19 Play less number of international events.

2021: In this year she participated several international events, and achieved two gold medals and a silver medal.

• European U20 Championship – Gold Medal.
• World U20 Championship – Silver Medal
• Balkan Championship – Gold Medal

At only 19 years old, Tzengko became the youngest-ever European champion – male or female – in the javelin

2022: In 2022 she gets one gold medal in European Championships in Munich, Germany. She throws 65.81 m Javline, and it’s her personal Best.

• At just 19 years old Greece’s Elina Tzengko won javelin gold at the 2022 European Athletics Championships in Munich.

• At only 19 years old, Tzengko became the youngest-ever European champion – male or female – in the javelin
• Tzengko’s throw of 65.81m was a personal best and she beat Adriana Vilagos and Barbora Spota who took silver and bronze respectively. It was certainly one for the ages with Tzengko age 19 years and 352 days, Vilagos at 18 years and 230 days, and Spotakova at 41 years and 51 days!
• Her parents are not greek but she and her siblings are greek nationality.
