Biography Doris Burke
Doris Burke grew up in Manasquan, New Jersey, the youngest of eight siblings. Basketball has always piqued her interest. She started playing basketball in second grade. Her role models include Kyle Macy, Tom Heinsohn and Kelly Tripucka. She used to play basketball as a point guard while attending Manasquan High School.
Several eastern colleges selected her based on her outstanding performance. Doris attended Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in health service management/social work. She later earned a master’s degree.
