Dillard’s canceled its New Year sale in 2022, so people are desperate to know if one is happening in 2023. But, the chain’s after-Christmas sale is already live and offering massive discounts.

Christmas and Boxing Day may be over, but shoppers can still get great bargains on almost anything as major brands continue to sell items at highly discounted prices until the start of next year.

But, Dillards hasn’t announced anything about a New Year sale.

Dillard’s hasn’t announced 2023 New Year sale

At the time of writing this article, Dillard’s hasn’t announced a New Year sale for 2023.

Shoppers, however, are eager to know if the stores will host their annual event as it was canceled in 2022.

When people on Twitter tagged Dillard’s in tweets and asked about the possibility of a sale ahead of the new year, the company shared: “Hi, the best way to stay in the loop on upcoming sales is by signing up for our emails”

Dillard’s released a statement on Twitter last year to confirm there wouldn’t a New Year sale in 2022. It read: “Hi! Dillard’s has thousands of newly reduced prices and incredible deals to shop that we hope you will enjoy, but we will not be having an additional discount on permanently reduced merchandise.”

After-Christmas clearance is on

Dillard’s ongoing after-Christmas sale on its website is offering shoppers up to 65 per cent discount on select items as their “deepest price reductions”.

The clearance sale is applicable on thousands of items from different brands with new markdowns including women’s clothing, shoes, juniors, accessories, and home products.

The average discount on all products ranges from 20-40 per cent.

Head over to the official website here to participate in Dillard’s after-Christmas sale. You can call your local store to know if there’s an in-person sale as most of them re-open on Monday, December 26, after the Christmas weekend.
