Yes. Lysa and Art TerKeurst are divorced and are no more together. What? Yes! Their divorce rumors are not fake but are officially confirmed too. The best-selling author, Lysa, took it to her social media account and announced that it was she who took the initiative. Why?

Because Art once again cheated on her. Despite being married to her, Art had an extramarital affair. Who would tolerate this? No one. No one deserves it too. It’s disrespectful and unapologetic too. If Art loved Lysa, he would not get involved with any other woman in the first place.

Even though Lysa wanted to sort things out and reconciled for the same, their 29 years of marriage didn’t work long. Talking more about the cause of Lysa and Art TerKeurst’s divorce, the latter ended up spending more than $100,000 of their money on his extramarital “sexual” affair.

He met with the alleged woman online, through social media. It was Lysa who filed for divorce in December 2021. At the beginning of this year, the author made an official announcement of the same, surprising everyone. The worst part is Art didn’t feel bad at the time of his misconduct after sharing five adult children with Lysa. 

Concerning their divorce, Lysa TerKeurst said that her spouse, Art, had “broken” their renewed vows which they exchanged after reconciling. That wasn’t nice! Their relationship was highly dysfunctional, mainly because of his misconduct.

When asked, Lysa shared that she excused her husband’s actions as mistakes. She admitted to taking time to understand the difference between mistakes and ungodliness. Lysa also mentioned that Art’s actions majorly were inclined to having lustful thoughts.

It caused her much pain to realize that he was no more in love with her. Spending nearly three decades together and being the mother of five is not an easy thing. After that, it’s pretty much unacceptable. Well, it feels good to see that Lysa and Art are divorced. The decision is believed to do good to both. Hoping Lysa has moved on and is happy in life.
