On December 3, 2018, Law & Order creator Dick Wolf filed in court to officially separate from his third wife, Noelle Lippman. The producer’s divorce announcement with Lippman came after the couple had been married for 12 years. Wolf mentioned in court filings that there was a prenuptial agreement. A day later, his wife filed for divorce, hoping for his and his wife’s support.
Wolf and Lippman married on June 17, 2009. Since their divorce, he has agreed to pay his ex-wife $100,000 a month to settle. Wolf allegedly earns between $10 million and $15 million per month. Therefore, the monthly payment of $100,000 is equal to or less than 1% of his salary. Lippman was the primary caregiver for the couple’s children, daughter Zoe and sons Rex, aged 8 and 11 at the time of the divorce. However, there is still no information that the couple has divorced.
Divorce second wife
Wolf was married twice before meeting Lippman. His divorce from second wife Christine Marburg also attracted much attention. On June 29, 1983, the author of Law & Order married Marburg. Olivia, Sarina and Elliot are their three children. Marburg earned $17.5 million in cash when their divorce was finalized in 2005. She also received spousal support of up to $2 million over eight years, as well as assets they had previously resided in. Marburg later filed an appeal in court, alleging that important financial information was withheld when she signed the divorce agreement.

She claims Wolf’s financial advisor tricked her into accepting the settlement without informing her of his $1 billion deal with NBC Universal being worked on. According to People, Marburg claimed that accounting documents revealed that the program was only worth $4 million and was losing money. She only knew about the arrangement after reading about it in the newspaper. At the time, she signed the settlement papers. She initially filed a lawsuit in 2004, trying to sue business advisors and their mediators for failing to act as a proper “neutral”.
The court investigated the case but found no evidence that the mediator had prior personal contact with Wolf. On the other hand, Marburg was found to have a commercial contract with the mediator after the mediation. Marburg finally lost the case in 2019 after years of court appearances.
