A church in Moline is doing their part to help local moms. Every other month at the Moline First Baptist Church, a group of people holds a diaper depot.
They hand out diapers, donated baby clothes, and supplies to anyone who might need a hand up. Organizers say it’s a way for the church to reach the community while helping the less fortunate.
“If there’s too much month left at the end of the money, we want to be able to supply a week’s worth of diapers and help out. It’s one of our ways of sharing the love of Christ with our community,” said Nancy Crawford from the Moline First Baptist Church
The church is always taking donations of diapers, wipes, and baby clothes. If you have a donation, just drop it off at Moline First Baptist Church, located at 1901 29th St, Moline, during business hours. The next diaper depot will be May 20.
