Conowingo Dam Motorcycle Accident: Wednesday crash shutdown traffic on US-1 at the Conowingo Dam.

One person fell into the river, prompting first responders from several agencies to be dispatched to a section of US-1 on the north side of the Conowingo Dam following a motorcycle crash on Wednesday.

Personnel from the Cecil County Department of Emergency Services, the Darlington Volunteer Fire Company, the Water Witch Fire Company, and Harford County Fire and EMS all responded to the incident.

Additionally, a helicopter from the Maryland State Police was called to the scene.

Both train traffic and the southbound lanes of US-1 were closed throughout the inquiry.
