However, the song has been widely criticized and now more people are speaking out against it.
Now, past videos of Colleen performing as Miranda Sings with JoJo Siwa are coming under scrutiny and she has been thrown out.

In the video, Colleen makes several sexual jokes about JoJo, while JoJo was only 13 at the time and Colleen was 30. In a 2016 Miranda Sings video titled ‘Dancing Tutorial’, Colleen, as Miranda, scolds JoJo for wearing shorts. She shouts: “You don’t need to wear vulgar clothes when you’re dancing, I can see her whole legs.”
Commenting on JoJo’s milk top, Miranda says: “I just realize you have ‘milk’ written on your shirt. You drink milk? Did you know it comes from a private part?” Miranda then refused to be breastfed by her mother as a child: “When my mother tried to get me to drink I said: ‘Get away, you rascal! I’m not drinking it alone with you!'”
Afterwards, Jojo splits up and Miranda says: “Whoa! Did you hurt your techie?” Jojo asks Miranda what “Tookie” is. Miranda then points to her crotch. When Jojo splits again, Miranda faces the camera and says: “We need to stop before he hurts his techie permanently.”
At the end of the video, Colleen says: “You need to protect your techie” and “I’m fairly positive I won the dance-off because you don’t have any more techies left.”
Clips from the video have since gone viral on TikTok and Twitter. Colleen has now turned off comments on videos.

In another video on JoJo’s XOMG POP! Chanel teaches JoJo Miranda to twerk. When she starts, Miranda says: “You can’t do that! You’ll be wooing all the people, you can’t twist the body like that, you’re tossing the booty.” Later, Miranda asks JoJo: “Have you ever taken off your pants to see what’s inside?” And JoJo is clearly heartbroken.
JoJo also asks Miranda if she can pour juice over her head as part of their weekly JoJo Juice segment. However, Miranda says: “I don’t trust your juice, I don’t trust any of your juice, JoJo. I don’t trust your juice, I don’t want your juice on me, JoJo, who taught you that you can get your juice on other people, JoJo? That’s not fair.”
At the end of the video, Miranda states that JoJo is a “naughty little girl who keeps twirling and hurting her techie.”

Teaching Miranda to Twerk! -jojo’s juice
Last week (July 7), creator Tommy Italiano posted a viral TikTok video in which he says: “Colleen Ballinger should apologize to JoJo Siwa” and edited together several Colleen and JoJo clips from the above video. TikTok now has over 2.9 million views and many people have slammed Colleen in the comments.
One person wrote: “Oh! How was this not called immediately. Where’s his mom?” Another said: “So many adults should apologize to JoJo” and “What’s the matter? It keeps getting worse. How has this been allowed to happen for so many years?!?!?”
Someone also wrote: “The more I watch these old videos, the weirder it gets. I remember thinking nothing of it when I was a kid and now I’m like oh my god.”
As it stands, Colleen has yet to address or apologize for the video. We’ll update you if she does.
