JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Pemerintah mendorong wajib pajak pribadi untuk melakukan validasi Nomor Induk Kependudukan (NIK) sebagai Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak (NPWP).
Pemadanan data NIK sebagai NPWP ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kepada Wajib Pajak dan memudahkan Wajib Pajak dalam administrasi perpajakan menggunakan identitas tunggal.
Adapun pemadanan NIK sebagai NPWP dapat dilakukan hingga 31 Desember 2023. Per 1 Januari 2024 mendatang, seluruh aktivitas perpajakan hanya akan menggunakan NIK dan berlaku seterusnya.
Sebagai informasi, NIK resmi berfungsi sebagai NPWP sejak Rancangan Undang-Undang Harmonisasi Peraturan Perpajakan (RUU HPP) ditandatangani oleh Presiden Jokowi menjadi Undang-Undang Nomor 7 tahun 2021 pada 29 Oktober 2021.
Lalu, bagaimana cara pemadanan data NIK menjadi NPWP?
Untuk memeriksa apakah NIK Anda telah dijadikan NPWP, Anda dapat mengikuti langkah-langkah berikut:
Akses laman atau djponline.pajak.go.id.
Pilih opsi “Login” yang terletak di pojok kanan atas.
Masukkan 16 digit NIK Anda.
Gunakan kata sandi akun pajak Anda dan klik “Login.”
Masukkan kode keamanan yang sesuai pada kolom yang telah disediakan.
Jika Anda berhasil masuk, artinya informasi NIK/NPWP16 telah tercatat di dalam NPWP terbaru Anda.
Para wajib pajak memiliki opsi untuk memperbarui data profil secara mandiri dengan melengkapi informasi seperti nama lengkap, alamat, nomor telepon/ponsel yang aktif, data Klasifikasi Lapangan Usaha (KLU), dan data anggota keluarga sesuai situasi saat ini.
