Ebert said nothing about his resignation from the organization. There is currently no further information available. Turnstile made the news ahead of their fall tour of the United States with Snail Mail and JPEGMAFIA. On August 4, several outlets claimed that Turnstile’s percussionist, Daniel Fang, had requested a peace order against Ebert. Because of this, many speculated that Ebert’s departure might be command-related.

On August 11, a hearing on Fang’s peace order against Brady Ebert was held.
When someone is accused of abusing, stalking, harassing, or destroying someone else’s property, a mediation order is issued. This month saw two hearings on Fang’s peace order. If approved, this order will prevent Ebert from communicating with, abusing, or accessing Fang. However, this order has been cancelled. Lambgoat refers to the final hearing on August 11 in the Maryland District Court, when it was clearly stated that there was no legal basis for relief. The ruling said there was not enough evidence to carry out the order and it was beyond the scope of the law.

Brady Ebert and singer Brendan Yates debuted Turnstile in 2010. Bass and vocalist Franz Lyons, drummer Daniel Fang and guitarist Sean Cullen joined the band. Tour schedule for Turnstile 2022
