Big Brother 25 week 2 is heating up as current Head of Household (HOH) Hisam Goueli has nominated two of his fellow houseguest for eviction. Hisam won the second HOH competition of the season, shifting the power to his alliance, The Professors. This was a back-to-back win for Hisam, who emerged victorious in the first Power of Veto competition of the season as well.

The Big Brother 25 live feeds have now revealed that Hisam nominated Reilly Smedley and Cameron Hardin for eviction as expected. Reilly was HOH last week, and is one of the most competitive players in Family Style, The Professors’ opposing alliance. Family Style consists of Reilly, Cameron, Jag Bains, Blue Kim, Matt Klotz, America Lopez, Cory Wurtenberger, and Jared Fields (who is playing both sides along with his mother Cirie Fields). Cameron had been mentioned as a target by The Professors several times before the nomination ceremony. Cirie had even expressed hope that Hisam would backdoor Cameron.

Although Reilly and Cameron are on the chopping block, there is still a Power of Veto competition to be played. No matter what happens, Hisam is sure to keep The Professors alliance safe. This means that Cirie, Felicia Cannon, Izzy Gleicher, Bowie Jane, Mecole Hayes, and Red Utley should be safe this week. Hisam also seems to trust Jared, and has even expressed that he would choose him for Houseguests’ Choice in the veto competition, which Izzy agreed with. If either Reilly or Cameron wins the veto, Hisam plans to replace them with Matt. However, Family Style wondered if Cory would be the replacement nominee.

It seems that Jag is safe this week because, after Jared went to the Nether Region, he chose Jag to go there after him, which somehow granted him safety. This is intriguing because Jag warned Jared that Reilly was the one who was most at risk, but he sent Jag anyway. Jag and Blue have also expressed that it would hurt them to save Reilly with the veto, although Blue already promised Reilly that she would. Jag and Blue shook on a Final 2 deal. This is interesting because Jag and Reilly have a Final 2 deal as well. Matt has pledged to save Reilly if he wins the veto.

Jag has also told the group that Hisam knows about their eight-person alliance. Cirie told Reilly that Cameron had told them everything about The Handful alliance, which consists of Cameron, Reilly, Jag, Blue, and Matt within Family Style. She said that people don’t trust him because he betrayed his alliance so quickly. It’s going to be very exciting to see who wins the Power of Veto because things could change drastically if someone from Family Style wins. In Big Brother, everyone should always expect the unexpected.
