Most nights , my mum has taken to leaving her bedroom light on all night. Of course some nights she turns it off either before going to sleep or early in the morning.
Some time ago I did get her consent to turn it off at 10:30 if she was asleep, but I've not been very good at that. In the new year I've decided to broach the subject again, but doing this quietly is a very tricky task because it requires me to open her door, turning it off and closing her door without waking her up.
One problem is that her light has two switches, one by the door and a cord over the bed, so if I switch it off , she cant switch it on if she really needs it. At the moment plan b is getting a sparkie to change the wiring. I'm also concerned on the effect my actions could have if she expects the light to be on when she wakes up.
Has any one any experiences with this issue ?
Thx
