The chapter starts with Siegfried and Mikhail going to the basement. Siegfried did not know where they were going and way because Mikhail asked him to come without letting him know. Siegfried asks Mikhail why they are going to the basement, which got abandoned for years. Mikhail told him he sensed something usual from there, and that was why he wanted to check it.

Siegfried asked him why he told him he was self-righteous, even though he knew nothing about him. Mikhail asks him if he thinks the Holy Nation can do no wrong, as the archbishops all seemed like people who were given Holy missions, and they did not seem to be causing any issues.

Mikhail asks Siegfried if he ever thought about the impact of his action on his surroundings. Siegfried got stunned hearing that, and he lied to Mikhail that he thinks twice before doing anything. Mikhail taunted him by saying that if he abandoned the prophet because of that. Siegfried tried to give an excuse, but Mikhail got angry and told him to shut up.

Mikhail told him the moment he abandoned the prophet, he lost the right to use justice as his excuse. He asks Siegfried if the archbishop told him that her prophecies ruined people’s lives and asks Siegfried if he ever traveled across the world to see if his words were correct.

Mikhail told Sett to bring his magic staff. He used his magic stick to clear out the surrounding in the basement. When he cleared the entire vine, he saw the flesh of the demon god. It was similar to what was bothering Ygg, although it was much weaker than that. Mikhail was sure that was not the only remnant of the demon god, and there would be much more spread throughout the holy nation.
