The wait is finally over.

“We had a lot of customers come from Illinois.”

“It was the people’s demand, when are you coming to Illinois? when are you coming to Illinois?”

Analog Arcade Bar 2 is coming to downtown Moline.

“This will bring the community in and whenever you have a strong community that just attracts economic development,” said Moline Center Executive director Adam Guthrie.

The bar will takeover the old Venue restaurant and bar on 14th Street and 5th Avenue.

The building is filled with rich history, one that couldn’t go to waste.

“It was a great building in a great neighborhood,” said  Analog co-owner Rich Cooksey. “It was kind of the ugliest house in a great neighborhood and that’s usually what we prefer,” he said. “We saw the potential underneath everything and we just want to bring that glory back and we want to put some games in it and have some fun with it.”

Cooksey said the location is perfect.

“We are in the best area we could be in, we have the mark, the new train station coming, great neighbors, great restaurants,” he said.

Giving the people a double shot at more games, more space and more fun.

“The Moline location gives us the opportunity because of the size of the building, it’s double the space, we’re actually going to have a newer, more modern, larger games that people have asked for.”

Keeping business.

“There’s no other kind of attraction like this on the Illinois side.”

Booming.

“It’s excellent that we’re bringing in this kind of entertainment to the Illinois side especially with the bridge construction that will be going on over the next two years,” said Guthrie. “It will give our residents on the Illinois side that same attraction that they have in Davenport that we’ve been lacking.”

The anticipated open date is December 31st.
