Adam Ballance Jr.’s Death: In Tulsa, Oklahoma, a party at a home south of East Apache Street and North Harvard Avenue descended into tragedy. Two 16-year-olds and 40-year-old Adam Ballance Jr. perished in the assault, and three other people—two of them teenagers—are critically injured.

Fatal Shooting Shakes Tulsa Community
An early morning gunshot that left one person dead is the subject of an ongoing investigation by the Tulsa Police Department. Officers were called to a shooting incident close to 3800 E. Woodrow St. at 1:58 a.m. When they arrived, they discovered several people who had been shot.
Sadly, two of the victims—a 40-year-old man named Adam Ballance Jr. and a 16-year-old man—passed away from their wounds. The 40-year-old died in the hospital, and the 16-year-old died there.
Three other patients, a male aged 20, another person aged 18, and a male aged 15, were sent to nearby hospitals to receive medical care.
According to preliminary investigations, a 16-year-old and another guest got into a fight during a family get-together at the house. An invited guest’s lover was the sixteen-year-old. Notably, at the time of the altercation, there were over a dozen people in the house, including children under the age of ten.

When the 16-year-old and his friends, who had been told to leave, were armed—both the 16-year-old and his 15-year-old companion had weapons—the situation became more heated. The forty-year-old Adam Ballance Jr. had requested that they leave, and he carried a semi-automatic gun.
As the argument progressed, things moved outside, where Adam Ballance Jr. and the armed 16-year-old exchanged shots, ending in the unfortunate death of the latter. Adam Ballance Jr. was shot during the exchange, which resulted in him falling and dropping his firearm.
Adam Ballance Jr.’s 20-year-old son took advantage of the circumstance and pulled out his father’s firearm, starting another volley of firing. This time, the armed 15-year-old and the son got into a gunfight, during which both of them were shot.
