Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert, both famous on The Bachelor, are getting married. The couple started planning the wedding after getting engaged in October during a trip to the Galapagos Islands. However, they eventually revealed the information. Caelynn discussed her engagement to Dean in an interview with Us Weekly’s Here for the Right Reasons podcast. She stated:
“I keep remembering when I knew he was The One when I knew we were getting married. I believe we keep talking about it, and I keep making jokes about it. And I believe the more I mocked it, the more he thought, ‘Okay, maybe I can get married.’”
Caelynn went on to say that she doesn’t know when they realized they wanted to get married. The former Bachelor student also said it is unknown when she and Dean will propose and get married. She went on to say that she wanted to take things slow and enjoy the time. Caelynn also revealed that she wanted to dress well before getting engaged, but her friend convinced her not to and enjoy the engagement process instead. She and Dean began planning their wedding after they became officially engaged.

Caelynn said she and Dean are in the “fun fiance” stage and have begun exploring locations. She said that the couple plan to get married in Aspen, saying:

Additionally, the Bachelor Alumni added:
And I said, ‘You don’t realize that the wedding process is full of choices and changes, so should I just ignore you?’ And he said, ‘I’m not sure.’ So we’ll see what happens.”
Caelynn went on to say that she chose the outfit for the engagement party and started looking for clothes for the wedding. She said she wanted two outfits for her wedding. “I’m not surprised”: Caelynn says she knew Dean was about to propose. Caelynn and Dean got married in October 2022. Dean’s proposal didn’t surprise her, she said in an interview with Hollywood Life, but the setting is:
“I’m not surprised by the engagement, but I’m surprised where it took place.”
Dean proposed after the couple dated for almost three years. Dean and Caelynn continued to date on ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise. She said she had already started wedding preparations when they arrived in the Galapagos:
“I love planning. It’s my absolute favorite thing in the entire universe. We have six flights to the Galapagos this week, so I have plenty of time and a lot of preparation.”
According to Hollywood Life, The Bachelor alumnus said that she and Dean originally planned to have a modest wedding in Italy with their families. Now, they have changed their mind and decided to choose Aspen as the final wedding venue.
