How ‘last rizzmas’ became the new holiday song

As per reports, the song became viral on social media after a TikTok user @letterboxdsigma posted a video singing the slang version of Last Christmas. The video went viral in a couple of days and received over one million views.

A couple of days later, another user, @theonlyrapscallion posted his version of the slang song and that too received millions of views on the platform. It soon became the song that other people started using in their videos.

Since then, several people have made reaction videos, and their own take on the song while also making videos using the sound in the background.

What are the lyrics?

The lyrics for the popular Gen Z song are as follows:
Last Rizzmas, I gave you my gyatt
But the very next day, you got Fanum taxed.
This year, to save me from mewing,
I’ll give it to someone rizzful.

Here, four popular slangs have been used. The term ‘rizz’ is used to refer to a male’s ability to attract a female, GYAT stands for ‘God Damn’ and is mostly used to describe someone beautiful.

Fanum taxed, on the other hand, means someone who eats a bunch of your food. It is derived from social media content creator Fanum, who has made food videos now and then. Lastly, mewing is a popular trending technique used to create jawlines.

There is another slang song

Before the Christmas song made a wave on social media, people on TikTok had been obsessed with ‘sticking out your GYAT for the rizzler’ song.

This too was a collection of slang that were commonly used on the platform and became an instant hit among the people.

The song has the following lyrics: “Sticking out your gyatt for the rizzler. You’re so skibidi. You’re so Fantum tax. I just want to be your sigma. Freaking come here. Give me Ohio.”
